Homemade lotion







Ingredients:


3/4 cup sweet almond oil
3 tbsp. beeswax (grated)
3/4 cup rosewater
15 drops vanilla essential oil(optional)
5 drops lavender essential oil(optional)
1 tsp. vit.E oil(optional)








Method:

Measure oil (including essential and vit E oils)) in a microwave safe dish.Grate the beeswax and add it to the oil. Microwave it (checking it every 30 seconds) until the wax is melted.Leave it to cool for a few minutes.Put the rosewater in the blender jug and turn on the blender.Keep it on while you drip in the oil and wax mixture very slowly.When the mixture is homogenized it should look like this:

 It's consistency is wonderfully light and smooth and it's ready to be stored in a container.

Note:
 *I used sweet almond oil, but you may use coconut, olive or any other oil you prefer or you know is beneficial for your skin.
*For the sake of having a product as natural as possible, I used beeswax, but if not easily available, you may replace it with petroleum jelly.
*I used the essential oils of my own choice, you may omit or use any other kinds you prefer, just make sure they are safe to use on skin/face.Check out this list.
