Rice flatbread-Chawal ki roti







Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup water
2 tbsp.oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup rice flour
1 tbsp. whole cumin seeds(roasted)

Put the water, oil and salt in a sauce pan and heat it up. When it starts to boil, turn the flame off and add the rice flour, mix well until all water is absorbed and remove the dough on your work surface(counter top or wooden kneading board).Wait for a few minutes until it cools enough to touch. Sprinkle the cumin seeds on the dough and knead it until it has come together. Leave it to rest for 20 min on room temperature, then pinch out small balls and roll them out with plenty of rice flour sprinkled on your work surface. Cook them on a hot tawa ( griddle) on both sides until golden.
